The skill I wanted to improve was my blending/gradient with paint skills. I made the Northern Lights BY ACCIDENT, so I'm pretty sure I did well.
The skill I intended to improve was follow through. I wanted to add some weight to the blade which I think worked well.
This Drawing is loosely based on Chester Bennington (hence the tattoos.) Honestly, some of the proportions are weird, but done to the best of my ability. The idea of "singer" came from a last second decision, I think the choice turned out well. The pose itself is centered around the microphone, making the singer look dramatic, in a sense. The right hand is where things look off, slightly big and even though he's pointing, the extra fingers seem to blur out.
